Fantastic Four Reborn is an upcoming reboot of the Fantastic Four film series. It is to be released by Marvel Studios.. The film stars Ewan Mcgregor, Charlize Theron, Garrett Hedlund, Kevin Dillon, and Clive Owen. It is scheduled to be released on July 24, 2014.

Plot[]

Film begins with a flashback from 15 years ago. Victor Von Doom is crreating a machine in college, and Reed Richards points out a problem with it. Doom ignores his warning, and the machine explodes. Doom is expelled, and Benjamin Grimm beomes Reed's new roommate. Cuts to present, Doom is putting on an armor, ready to get revenge on Reed Richards. Meanwhile, Reed Richards, Benjamin Grimm, Sue Storm, and Johnny Storm are getting ready to go into space to study cosmic rays. They go into space, and they're ship is taken down by cosmic rays. They crash on Earth, and they discover they have gained fantastic powers. At first, Reed tries to cure Ben, until Latverian armies invade the United states. The four fight the army, until Victor Von Doom, now calling himself Dr Doom, challenges them to a fight. They travel to Doom's castle in Latveria, and split up to find Doom. They find traps waiting for them, and they must all encounter Doom one on one. Doom beats them, and imprisons them. Just as he is about to kill Reed, Johnny escapes, and frees the others. The four fight Doom, until he sets the self destruct sequence on the castle, and they escape. Doom is hit in the explotion, making it unknown whether he survived. The four return to America, and they decide to fight evil as the Fantastic Four.

Fantastic Four Reborn received mix reception from fans and critics.

Prequel[]

A spin-off/prequel based on Dr. Doom, titled "Doomed" is to be released on June 24, 2016.

Sequel[]

A sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Sub-Mariner, is set to be released on July 27, 2017.
